The 3 Categories of Parasites!

Did you know there are only 3 categories of parasites?

Those categories are :

helminths (which you can see with the naked eye)

protozoa/sporozoa (which are invisible to the naked eye)

and arthropods/ectoparasites (which are creatures that deliver parasites and other pathogens, like ticks, mosquitoes, etc)

Helminths....these are the ones that are big enough to see with your naked eye and these parasites have well-developed organ systems.

Helminths are also called trematodes, flatworms, cestodes, nematodes, ascaris, & strongyloides.

These are the parasites that fall into this category:

Flukes

Roundworms

Pinworms

Whipworms

Hookworms

Tapeworms

Protozoa/Sporozoa…..these are single-celled parasites that cannot be seen by the naked eye, like Giardia, entamoeba, blastocystis, E histolytic, Babesia, toxoplasmosis, cryptosporidium, etc).

These parasites do not have organ systems. About 70% of parasites fall into this

category (which is why many people that do parasite cleansing don't always see things come out, because so many parasites are invisible to the naked eye, or self destruct

upon leaving the body).

Protozoa can invade the body at a cellular level. This means they can affect virtually ALL organs!

Arthropods/Ectoparasites….these are creatures that can deliver parasitic infections, bacteria, and viruses to us.

They can also burrow into the skin and scalp (feeding on the skin cells and blood).

ANY biting insect falls into this category....like ticks, mites, fleas, bed bugs, scabies, mosquitoes, spiders, horse flies etc.

So, since there are parasites everywhere, should we run for the hills and live in fear?

NO!!!

In my practice, I help my clients to stop viewing parasites as the enemy! We are meant to live in harmony with them and studies show how helpful they can be to our immune system, as long as there’s not an overgrowth.

Yes, an overgrowth needs to be addressed, but you cannot neglect to address WHY they got overgrown in the first place!

Here’s my blog post, where I go into more detail about WHY parasites get overgrown in the body:

If you suspect parasitic overgrowth, or want help figuring out where to start with parasite cleansing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I offer a FREE 20 minute consultation, with no obligation ever attached.

Remember, there's NOT a one-size-fits all approach to dealing with parasitic overgrowth. Every situation is unique, so some people do better on homeopathics, others on herbals, and some do best on a combo of both!

There are LOTS of cleanses being promoted online, but it's best to work with a knowledgeable practitioner, so you can address it safely, gently, and effectively!

If you've never done a parasite cleanse before, click here for my blog post about how to open your drainage pathways first!

Also, if you click here, you can find my post about which products you will need for parasite cleansing (which also includes the link for my post about trusted websites for getting things at a discount).

Again, don't hestitate to reach out, if you have any questions!
